Yeah, it's pretty flexible. As long as your wallet gives you a receiving address for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc., you're good. No weird proprietary wallet stuff needed.

I used Coinbase Commerce for a bit but switched to MCC. The main thing for me was not having to deal with their KYC stuff, and the no transaction fees with MCC is a huge bonus. Plus, it integrates really well with WooCommerce.

Coinbase Commerce can be simpler to set up initially if you're already in their ecosystem, but if you want more control over your crypto and don't want to pay per transaction, MCC is the way to go. It's a bit more hands-on setup but totally worth it.

Yeah, I had the same thought. From what I understand, it's because it's peer-to-peer. The crypto goes straight from the customer to your wallet, so there's no middleman taking a cut like with traditional processors.

It's non-custodial, so they never actually touch your money. That's how it works with no fees for the transactions themselves. You still pay for the plugin license though, obviously.
